The Information Technology Unit works as a coordinated team to provide all facets of technical support to the Sheriff's Office. The primary mission involves continuous real-time data collecting and reporting for all calls for service while permitting a historical blueprint of events to be created and recorded. The IT Division is a 24/7/365 operation, never allowing for downtime regardless of the circumstances.
The unit is responsible for maintaining all technological operations including cell phones, desktop computers, Mobile Data Terminals (MDT computers in the patrol vehicles), Mobile Command Center operations, all radio communications equipment, all network connections involving other government entities and all software systems in use throughout the agency.
